Hi,

I'm proud to announce SQLiteStudio 1.0.0-beta1!
http://sqlitestudio.one.pl

WHAT IS SQLITESTUDIO?
It's advandced, cross-platform (Linux and Windows so far) SQLite
database manager written in Tcl (using some extensions).

Currently only SQLite 3.x is supported, but SQLite 2.x, RealSQL (and
others) are planned.

It's open-source. It's also free for non-commercial usage (commercial
usage requires purchase - starting with stable release, while this is
BETA1 release, not stable one - see licencing on homepage for
details).

SQLiteStudio is described in details on page:
http://sqlitestudio.one.pl/index.php?act=about

Screenshots can be found at:
http://sqlitestudio.one.pl/index.php?act=screenshots

Discussing forum is placed at:
http://forum.sqlitestudio.one.pl/

and - finally - there is an IRC channel on FreeNode named
#sqlitestudio.

I hope you'll enjoy this software!

Any suggestions, bug reports, comments and ideas are welcome on the
discussing forum (see above) and IRC channel (also see above), as well
as some contributions, like patches or graphics.

The download page is broken. In particular when attempting to download the
windows binary one gets:
Access forbidden!

You don't have permission to access the requested object. It is either
read-protected or not readable by the server.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
Error 403

It was true, I've fixed it already. Just wrong permissions to file
while uploading.

Well it is not open source, other then the fact you can download it as
source.

It does look like a nice package though.

It's not Open Source in OSI (Open Source Initiative) understeanding, but
it's still open source, because you can read and modify sources. Some of
limitations are provided because of commercial character of part of the
licence.

Hmm, what is this

When I double click on sqlitestudio-1.0.0-b1.exe:
"Error in startup script . C'ant find package Tile:: etc............"

My box is W2000.

Just to be clear enough:

"Error in Startup script can't find package tile::theme:xpnative
etc........"

Are you sure it works fine with W2k ? (I am thinking about "xpnative")

thank you

It's just a beta ya know :) Many bugs were found today. Expect beta2 to
be much more stable.
