Has anyone gotten the pointer to actually move using event generate -warp on windows?

Tk has the correct internal position, but the pointer doesn't move.

It works on linux. Have not tested on a mac.

twapi::move_mouse doesn't seem to work either (I've never used twapi before, I may be doing something wrong). Maybe moving the mouse cursor doesn't work in virtualbox. I will try it in native windows tomorrow.

Hi,

::twapi::move_mouse [list $x $y] works for me under Windows.

Thanks for the test.

The event generate -warp and move_mouse work on native windows 10.
So it appears to be a bug in virtualbox (windows on linux host).
A non-issue except when I'm trying to test.

Thanks! It looks like it is the mouse integration causing the problem. I turned that off and it works in windowed mode as well. I will need to memorize the Right-Ctrl-I key when I need to test this piece of code.
