The latest version adds regex support in search and substitute commands
(although disabled by default; use :set regex) and auto-loads the main
buffer when connecting to a fresh REPL (see autoload option).
All in all creating a useful and smoothely working Scheme interaction
buffer seems to be a rather long-term project. I will keep working on
it when time permits.
I am currently using ARSE to edit almost all of my Scheme code and the
difference to vi is hardly noticable. However, the program is still in
beta state! When it crashes and takes your code with it, there is nobody
to blame but yourself. Caveat utilitor!
The code is on my home page in the usual location.
