Does a fast YAML validating library exist ?

Hello ruby-talk,

i want to include a YAML syntax checker in my program.

It should be very fast so a C implementation is necessary.
If must be very stable and don't consume much memory. This means
an explicit validate/wellformed check is necessary, reading and later
discarding the result is not a possibe solution.

Any ideas and URL's ?
