Virtual Python Shell has been released at
https://cjshayward.com/p/. The license is your choice of the GPL2 and MIT license.
Essentially, a little like Brython, it allows you to use Python instead of built-in shell scripting languages for the Linux / Unix / Mac command line, or mix Python with built-in shell usage side-by-side.
