Can someone help me with the following problem? I want to measure
time taken for execution of Prolog Programs. I am using

SICSTUS 0.6 #14, 1987 Prolog interpreter.

Thanks,
Pawan

You can call the built-in predicate statistics with first argument
runtime. A call to
statistics(runtime,X).

will return a two elements list containing the elapsed time from the start
of Prolog and the time elapsed from the previous call to statistics.
