Suppose I install SWI-Prolog on the Mac.

Is there also an uninstaller?

That depends how you go about installing and uninstalling it. If you use Homebrew, then you can install it by running:

brew install swi-prolog

in your terminal, and similarly can uninstall it neatly by running:

brew uninstall swi-prolog

Thanks to the work of Carlo Capelli, there will be a real app that follows
all the usual Mac app stuff and can even be executed directly from the disk
image (that part is already working).

Note that on any platform, SWI-Prolog is organised in a single tree. On
Unix, there are links linking the binaries from the normal places where
binaries should be. These are all called swipl*. On Windows, there are
a few registry keys.

Cheers --- Jan
