Is there legal comments in a PostScript file ?

Are they interpreted or not ???

Is it an obligation to define %%BoundingBox ? %%Pages ?

Is there a list of these "obligatory" comments ?

Thanks a lot

All comments are allowed if they follow the rules of PostScript.

Not usually. Some printers do strange things.

HOWEVER, DSC comments may be used for document processing, a different
thing entirely from interpreting.

If you want a DSC file you must include %%Page, %%Pages and some
others. If you want an EPS file you must include %%BoundingBox.
