I'm trying to recover/renew my access to poplog - since V15.53

my understanding was that.

It's worse than that:.
-/latest-poplog/get-prelinked-ubuntu-poplog
has got `wget` and even `apt-get` !
Which means that poplog depends on the Debian <remote system> ?

My logic and experience is that rather than hoping for a
DoA, DoB ... overall success: rather provide the new user a
progressive set of confirmation-sequences.
Ie. test/confirm <sequence 1>, test/confirm <sequence 1b>,...

This approach relates to the advantage of functional/piping:
for an N-stage program, when the output at stage N-5 is OK,
the user need ONLY be concerned with the input & action of stage N-4.

AFAICS the various scripts <attempting to make V15.65 usable>,
output <traces> to the terminal. This is of little use to the new-user.
Traces should go to logFiles.

My 32bit Debian7's DirTree /usr/local/poplog looks like:--
