in the book, and more.
It is in two parts: the first part contains the basics of PL/I
and is suitable for self-learning.
The second part contains algorithms applicable to many fields:
algorithms for sorting and searching are covered.
algorithms for solving linear equations are covered in detail.
many algorithms for string searching are included.
algorithms for creating and reading PCX and TIFF picture files are given.
