We're using 1.1 along with Enterprise PL/I.

Interesting.

I've been in use past EOS situations before, but there were enough
unmigrated sites to make extended support an option that wasn't too
expensive, at least for a limited period.

I suppose there aren't as many PL/I for MVS and VM sites as there
were IMS V5 sites. We were part of a pool/consortion which paid for
extended IMS v5 support. As time passed and sites dropped out our share
got larger. We dropped out of that pool when we bypassed IMS v6 and
jumped directly to v7.

Occasionally I still use the old V2.3.0 compiler, and not just because
it can compile programs on which Enterprise PL/I completely chokes...
