Hi all

(sorry for my english)

when making an application in PHP using a framework like Joomla ...

and then you have to make such a uml class diagram or sequence diagram,
taking into account the classes already implemented by the framework, to
end those created by the developer are subclasses that extend the
classes JView, and JModel Jcontroller ...

which in turn implement many of their functionality, interfaces ...

so how do you make a class diagram or sequence taking into account that
it is impossible to list all entities involved in the operation of the
application, as a framework is complex?

We simply abstract?

I abstract the unnecessary parts of the base classes. No real need to
diagram unnecessary parts - which may change.

Now if I already had a UML diagram for those classes, I would just
include them. But most of the packages don't provide such information.
In fact, I suspect many of them don't even have it - they just came
out that way.

If someone needs class diagrams, he can do reverse engineering. Google
"php to uml", there is some great (but not free) software for doing
that.
