Hi There-

I've created a script that includes a class. It works in xampp but not
in my yahoo webspace. Does this have

anything to do with 'register_globals' being turned off?

My code is very simple and not specific to php 4 or 5, I am just
creating and using a class.

view code:
http://leobee.com/php/page1.txt
http://leobee.com/php/page1.class.txt

Any help is appreciated!

In what way does it fail? Saying "it doesn't work" give no useful
information whatsoever!

I'm new at programing, However I'll try to be more specific.
The text in the 'page.php' writes to the screen correctly when I have
it in xampp. The same text doesn't write to the screen when I place
the script(s) on the yahoo web hosting server.

Here is the page on my webspace.
http://leobee.com/php/page.php

Is there any more information that is needed? I'm really confused
here.

Does anyone had experience with 'class' not working on Yahoo web-
hosting?

Or better yet, instead of changing to another ISP that still won't offer
server-side scripting, keep the ISP you've got and in addition, buy real
web hosting. :-)

Most shared hosting costs about the same as a couple of cups a coffee
per month. Or one cup if you get your coffee at Starbucks.

(Top posting fixed)

I don't see your problem. It seems to be working fine, here. Or did
you change something?

P.S. Please don't top post. Thanks.

It should not take "hours" to update. Your updates should be available
immediately.

I suspect you suffered from pages being cached by your browser.

And thank you for not top posting!

Gazing into my crystal ball I observed Leoa <leondri...@gmail.com>
writing in news:4d1c0819-de96-44ce-a71a-
18050a...@r5g2000yqb.googlegroups.com:

I am glad you got the problem solved, but I seriously suggest you find
better hosting.

I had some serious problems with Yahoo. First, no .htaccess "for
security reasons". As of September 19, 2009, Registered Globals were
ON. I sent them a nice note and advised them the error of their ways,
because they have apparently changed that. They are, however, still
using PHP version 4.3.11 - which has been at end of life for some time.
