I am looking to propose a PHP shopping cart system to a friend.
They may move to a LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/P[hp|erl]) based host.
Any suggestions? (Which is prefered from security point of view?
Security being equal, which is easiest to maintain?)
I have looked at osCommerce and like it but they have yet to
commit to "Business Ready" saying that their downloadable preview
release is unsupported. (http://www.oscommerce.com/ click on downloads)
Thanks for the input!
There are alot of folks using "preview" release of OSCommerce on live/active
sites. I think thats thier way of letting people know that there might be
bugs, and to use at thier own risk.

I've recently setup a new server (Apache, MySQL, PHP etc) I'm currently
testing everything on the server, so you'd be welcome to an account to test
various projects / ideas etc.... no obligation, just looking for
feedback....
Thanks
