Hardly!
I have plenty of money and designers, I'm holding a contest along with
other sponsors to promote faster loading and better looking pages, and of
course more interactive! I resent the fact you call it a scam!
Free Domain name and web space for life is what we are giving to the
winner, Crystal 3D IMPACT! Pro is giving away their latest copy of their
award winning software also. O'Reilly publishing may also sponsor with
Perl Books!
Not everything is a SCAM as your closed mind seems to think! So people
just like to help others for FREE, and since we DO HAVE enough money we
would like to give a little back to the world!
Also, I'm not going to be in the contest or judge it, I'm already listed in
Who's Who in Professionals and Executives under "Webmasters" and have much
Perl, CGI, JAVA, XML, SGML, experience, this is to recognize other Web
Masters for their innovative work and style. the judges are from
Microsoft, Crystal 3D, Carnegie Mellon University, The Art Institute,
UPBEAT Entertainment and some other local and national sponsors!

And all the work is done on each participants OWN web, they are not working
on a web for me or my company! Their web can be most anything that is
LEGAL. After the contest their webs can be deleted by them or kept up for 6
months for FREE.
Where do you get your idea that we need money or programmers?
That is pretty funny!! I'll let my Staff know, they should get a good kick
out of your post!

Sure they will too!
Is this entire group filled with pig headed assholes with nothing
better to do than point out the short comings of another? I thought
this group was "the most helpful" news group on the Net...
Guess a lot has changed since i was last here. BTW, I checked out the
posters site and thought it was pretty cool.
Maybe you should too, you might learn something, like being polite,
though your post was not as much of a flame as some others, a little
more contructive critisim and less BITCHING might help you have a
happier life.

Is there any newsgroup left where people help and not flame?!!
