Humble request for HELP follows:

I have successfully copied a section of the desktop to a memory device
context that I have created. What I want to do now is copy the contents
of this device context to an object of type HBitmap. I tried this using
the windows API CreateCompatibleBitMap(...), but all I get in the Bitmap
is garble. It is a valid bitmap, as I can save it and view it in a
graphics app., it just dosn't hold anything meaningful.

How can I do this ?? I am at my wits end trying to solve this...

Again, Any help will be appreciated

Thanx,
Craig...

I am posting this with a little trepidation as I don't want the post to
be misconstrued. However, here goes! I am currently selling a unit that
allows capture of regions of the desktop into a TBitmap or into a
BlobField. The registration fee is $15.00 and includes source code.

You mailed me? If you did, I didn't receive the message - I assure you.
Anyway, as to why it won't install, that is simple. It is not a
component. I have billed it as a UNIT, not a component. To use it,
simply add it to the USES statement of a unit, and call the functions as
they are documented in the .WRI file.

I apologize for failed attempts to contact me. I don't understand it as
I check my mail several times a day. If you have any further questions,
please let me know.

I tried your shareware version of this, and it wouldn't install it into
Delphi as a component. I couldn't figure out how to use it so I mailed
you, but no response. As a result I was trying to do it myself - now you
want to sell me the source code ?? At least let me know how the
shareware version can be used. If it works and I like it, I might buy the
source code...

Cheers,
Craig.
