ThinkPascal (previously Lightspeed Pascal) works and is probably the best
programming environment, although it may not have full access to Mac OS 9
features since it was stopped in the Mac OS 7.5 / 8.0 days.

It used to be freely downloadable on the Symantec website, but yo'll
probably have to search for it now.

It's still available from http://www.pascal-central.com/tools/think.4.5d4.bin
and you should also get the 4.5a1 patch [ http://www.think-pascal.org/Pascal_4.5a1_Update.sit.bin
].

For more information, definitely read Ingemar's information at
http://www.think-pascal.org/ .

Thanks for the links.

I have got those installer files stored on floppy disks (and the
application still installed on my Mac although I haven't used it in quite
a while), but my floppy drive no longer works, so it will be good to get
another copy to put on CD instead.

I wish they'd bring it back for Mac OS X. :o(

Currently there are only installs for OS X (and iirc 10.3 up on PPC, and
10.4 up on Intel).

In the past there has been a shortlived MacOS port, that was abandonned when
the only maintainer stopped. It was not Lazarus though, just the base
compiler and a few units working in MPW.

Unfortunately, the release series that version was in is no longer available
from FPC, since it was pulled due to some copyright issues.
