I have a Delphi installation with lots of third-party components in
the component palette.
Any chance to move my complete Delphi installation to another PC
without having to re-install all the components?
TIA

Standard Plug'n'Pray procedure:
Save Delphi's registry settings on the old PC.
Save recursively the complete Delphi path incl. all 3rd party
components.
Install Delphi on the other machine using exactely the same paths.
Copy the saved files/paths onto the new PC.
Merge the registry settings into the new computer's registry.
[success not guaranteed]
Cheers,
Udo

What are "Delphi's registry settings"? Should I search for "Delphi" in
the whole registry?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\Delphi
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Delphi
Browse there and decide youself what you want to keep.
IMHO a clean install cannot be replaced by any copy procedure. You never
know what you missed so when an error comes up the "fake" install
*could* be the reason...
