I have an OLD laptop with 16MB memory and 90MB hard drive.

I am considering buying Delphi 2 for a song on EBay.

Will Delphi 2 fit on a computer with these limitations?

Thank you.

I'd look to see if that laptop could have its memory upgraded,
"likewise, for a song." But yes, Delphi-2 would run just fine on that.

I >still< use Delphi-2 for production.

I don't think even only Win 3.1 (and certainly not Win 95) will run on 16Mb.
The 90Mb HD will also be a limitation.

I don't say it is totally impossible but it is hardly worth it. OTOH there are
some people still running big software companies who used to think that 640Kb
was enough RAM for anyone <g>.

Even then it should be only one verse <gg>. There were free issues on some PC
magazines.

it will, but you can do push-ups whil it compiles.

I beg to differ with you... Win3.1 runs fine on my 386 with 8MB RAM, and my
486 has been using Win95 with 16MB RAM for the past 6 years.

As for the 90MB of HD space... not sure if that'll be enough. As I recall,
the full installation of D2 is about 90MB, so my guess is it won't work.

Good Luck
