I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the DBMemo component
especially in terms of trying to enable the scrollbars when the
component or underlying dataset is set to read-only.

My form is displaying a history of transactions, click on a date from
a grid, the dbmemo gets updated, but I don't want the user to change
anything......Setting it to read-only gives me what I want......but
the scrollbars are disabled.

Anyone know of a way to maintain read-only and still have the
scrollbars active?

Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Sorry....had a brain lapse......of course the contents of the memo has
to extend beyond it's size in order for scrollbars to be
required....please ignore
