Not that such voting has any validity. Voting is for creating
newsgroups. An opinion poll is a more correct term.

That is plain false. The opinions so far have been about evenly
divided had you bothered to count also the pro "votes". Easily
verified.

The subject content of newsgroups is of relevance. Especially given
that there are so many parallel ones. It is not easy for newcomers
to know where to post. But your main argument is that the posting
bothers YOU.
> That voting nor the discussion had no influence.
On top of its ad-hoc nature the quick-and-dirty voting result is
mispresented. As of the "discussion", it failed to address any of
the main issues, listed in an earlier posting.

Inaccurate. "He has not turned it off" would more accurate.

Silly counter-crusades are your privilege. You might first wish to
get your facts right, though.
> Timo Salmi has his own opinions about the newsgroup guidances, and he

But not the guts to use your real identity.

The objections might have marginal validity if you would not use
deliberately derogatory, false terminology. Please look up the
correct meaning of spam in any net jargon dictionary.
All the best, Timo
