I wrote that package years ago as a quick research project. Released it as
a proof of feasibility prototype (as distinct from ready to use production
code). I've done no further work on it. The idea was to encourage others
to pick up the idea and complete it.
That said, if you've very large amounts of ST code to convert investing
time getting Producer running and building the translation tables it
relies on should be much faster than hand-editing each line. For short
jobs it wouldn't pay.

You could also modify your smalltalk compiler to generate OC instead of
bytecodes. I started such a program a few years ago. It's just a starting
point, but if you wish, I can send it to you. (it requires ParcPlace 's
Smalltalk).
