always interested in hearing from anyone using a prevalence layer, to me as a ssyadmin this would seem the big thing people would do moving to, but I think cl-prevalnce is not maintained? java version www.prevayler.org although I can't get to the newer wiki.

I use it. Maintained or not, I regard it as finished and stable.

Can I see the site? Is it pubic? prevayler seems like an outstanding idea. So it is finished and stable? The lisp version or java version?

cl-prevalance can be found here http://common-lisp.net/project/cl-prevalence/
and is pretty much feature-complete with regards to the original Prevalence white-paper.

I've used it in the past as the back-end for custom made content management systems instead of a relational database.

There's no real active development because there's just not much work to do on except maybe bug fixes.
I'm pretty sure Sven (the author) accepts patches if you would want to improve something or fix bugs.

awesome, good to hear , I think object prevalence is one of the next big things and am amazed that more companies are not building on it.
