gcl msdos

Hi all
I hope someone will be able to help me with this.
I'm trying to find a compiled version of gcl for msdos. I've tried
compiling it with djgpp but it doesn't seem to be working.
I assume from the gcl source that a dos version is possible as there is an
addefs.bat file etc.
So if someone can point me in the direction of binaries for dos i would be
very greatful.
