Hiya

I was wondering about thr copyrights in javascript.
You always see : copyight by whoever, and I was wondering, do you have to go
through some legal procedure to do this or can u just put it there and if
so, how copyright is it?

You can just put it there - at least in the US you can.

In the U.S., to copyright something, all you have to do is to say so
(e.g., Copyright 1996, by Warren Miller). International copyright laws,
on the other hand, may be different. There should be some sort of
government pamphlet at your local library.
