I need to upgrade the store of certificates of a JDK1.3.10, in order
to use SSL to various sites (need to keep using this JDK version for
various reasons). JRE 1.6 has no problem with the sites. Can certain
files such as the CACERTS file simply be copied from the more recent
JRE to the old JSK, or should some other method be followed to upgrade
the certificate support?

Regards,

Joop

Look at how to export and import certs individually from your cacerts
file.

It will be tedious. I suggest writing a bat file, or writing a
program to write the bat file.
