Hi,

I'm looking for a 64-bit JVM for Linux on Intel, but it looks like Sun
doesn't offer one.
Am I just missing it, or are there really no 64-bit JVMs for Linux on
Intel?

Are there free alternatives?

Thanks.

If you mean Itanium 2, then Sun supports Java 1.4 but not 1.5.

If you mean Intel's AMD64 clone, "EM64-T", then download the Linux AMD64
version.

Actually, I'm looking for the JVM for a 64-bit Xeon processors. Does
Sun offer anything for that?

Thanks.

Download the Linux AMD64 version. The Xeon is part of the EM64-T family
