Java Internet Business Expo ("JIBE")
Javits Center, NY NY

Co-Sponsors: JavaSoft, Sun, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Sybase
Many presentations / multi-tracks.
Major Java conference (somewhat "JavaOne East Coast")

The official website http://www.javaexpo.sbforums.com
has the conference schedule, session abstracts, speakers,
and on-line registration at full price.

User group website: http://www.objdev.org/javaexpo
has two types of registration: Exposition, Conference Registration

1) Exposition (exhibit hall, special events, keynotes) is FREE
(when you preregister via user group website, otherwise $50 onsite)

Keynote Presentations:
* Scott McNealy (CEO Sun Microsystems)
* John Thompson (Senior VP IBM)
* Larry Ellison (CEO Oracle)
* James Barksdale (CEO Netscape)

2) Conference Registration (paid sessions / tutorials / special days)

*** 15% discount *** off most options
Special arrangement negotiated, combined effort of two user groups:
* Object Developers Group, Inc (ODG) New York City
* Sun User Group / JavaSIG (SUG) International
Current members of either group can obtain the 15% discount,
which more than pays the annual user group membership fees
(plus there are many other ODG/SUG benefits year-round)

Please ask as many attendees as possible to register via the user
group website -- they get a good deal now on registration, and in
the future we may be able to offer more discounts.

The conference registration fees are entirely for SoftBank Forums,
a for-profit organization, and are not a donation to ODG or SUG.

ODG and SUG are IRS 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organizations,
so your membership may be tax deductible (consult your tax advisor).

Register on/before __August 1__ for additional "Early Bird" discount
