I've been unable to change the font size of my JMenuBar component. It
seems like it should be simple but everything I've tried has no
effect. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,
Mark

I've had similar problems with the JTable headers. I change the font,
i get the font and it is the changed font, but the header stays drawn in
the old font. I can get a new font to stick if i use the UIManager:

UIManager.put("TableHeader.font", new Font("Monospaced", Font.PLAIN, 18));

Maybe something like this would work for you.

PS if anyone knows how to get the jtable header to be redrawn with a new
font, other than using the UIManager, i'd like to hear about it.

The text that appears in the menu bar is actually the JMenu's
font. So, just call setFont(...) on the JMenus.
