JFileChooser internationalization

Hi,

I am using JFileChooser and the problem that I face is setting the
text and tool tips of specific fields. I can set the approve button text
and tool tip, along with the cancel button text and tool tip. But the fields
"Look in:", "filename:", and "Files of type:" along with the tool tips for
the icons are hard coded into the UIs.

I think this is a poor design of Swing, but I would like to know how
I can get around this. My app my be used by someone who does not know
english. I would like to be able to overide the text in these "Look in:",
"Filename:", etc.. fields to whatever I went (i.e. a string read from a
resource file)

If anyone has any ideas as to how I can modify these text fields
and tool tips...I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
