I'm searching jdbc drivers connecting to a MS SQL Server which support
encrypted data transfer to and from the server.
Until now I only found the FastForward Proxy from ConnectSW, are there
any other products out there?

Hi Joachim. If you can consider a three-tier architecture, we
(WebLogic) can supply a secure pure Java JDBC protocol. It can
even be HTTP so you can connect across firewalls.
Our 2-tier JDBC driver for MSSQLServer doesn't provide encryption
between the DBMS and the middle tier, but I will bet that connectsw
doesn't either because the MSSQLServer won't understand encrypted
stuff.
There are a huge raft of other benefits to a powerful middle tier/
application server, which I will recount to you privately at your
request.

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down?
We might, if they screamed all the time for no good reason. Jack Handey

Yes, IDS Server. The current 2.0.2 release support secret key encryption.
The upcoming 2.5 will support public key encryption (protect anonymous
clients).
