Hi

I am new to JDBC and was wondering if there are any good books to refer
to to learn more about JDBC?

Secondly, I would like someone to comment on this setup.
I am trying to implement a 3-tier database access using JDBC.
My client is in Java and uses some JDBC API call.
THe server will also be in JAVA/JDBC
the server talks to a driver written in JDBC
the driver talks to the database written in C

Currently the database exists with a client server mechanism written in
C.
What would be a better approach?
1) make the driver "bridge" to the existing client code?
2) make the driver talk directly to the server API?
