Georeference from IDL to ENVI

dear all,
i have 3 .txt files with latitude, longitude, an Brightness Temp data
of different radar passes.
using the projection tools of IDL i'm able to obtain a polar
projection of these data and save it as an image. unfortunately, in
this way i lose all the map information about lat e long.
i would like to know if there is a procedure in IDL to obtain an image
with the MAP INFO that can be read in ENVI
