DI3000: subscript too small and too low

In DI-3000 IF I can
CALL JHSTRG('[FONT=07]Log[BSUB]10[ESUB]
(1-T[BSUB]c[ESUB]/T[FONT=09][BSUB]l[ESUB])').
This is to produce $\rm Log_{10}(1-T_c/T_\lambda)$ (TeX) or
Log (1-T /T )
10 c lambda
But the output looks terrible that it can not be accepted by any publications.
The subscript letters are too small and too low from text letters. I am
looking for a solution of this problem. Please send me email. Thanks.
