Although the MindForth AI has not yet been updated with all the new functionality of the tutorial AI in JavaScript for Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE), we remain well aware that the Forth AI is Choice Number One for implementation in robots. Accordingly yesterday on Saturday 2018-06-16 we have added to the http://ai.neocities.org/MindBoot.html sequence the henceforth innate idea "I NEED A BODY". At the same time we were porting from Forth into JavaScript the http://ai.neocities.org/VisRecog.html mind-module which makes the AI Mind supply the concept 760=NOTHING whenever a human user asks or tells the AI what it sees. Then we tested the JSAI (JavaScript AI) by inputting "you see god". That input immediately went into neuronal inhibition for several cycles of thought. When the idea about seeing God eventually resurfaced in the possibly conscious AI Mind, it was not able to restate the original AI but could, and did, only say "I SEE NOTHING". Until the MindForth version of the First Working AGI is installed in a sentient robot equipped with robotic eyesight, the AI Mind must substitute "NOTHING" as the object of the verb "SEE" in the first-person singular idea "I SEE...."

Such a stricture is actually a dynamic challenge to both robot-builders and software-coders. Although the AI Mind is written in Forth, the vision system could be written in an inferior language like Python or C++ or Lisp, because the VisRecog mind-module needs only to supply a name -- a noun -- for whatever object or person the AI Mind is seeing through its robot eyes.

Remember the expression "Seeing is believing"? Once the AI Mind qua Forthmind is installed in a humanoid robot, the expanded First Working AGI will believe its own eyes and will use the http://ai.neocities.org/var.html#tru tag or "truth-value" to keep track of memory engrams to which the AI assigns a high level of belief or credibility. It will be possible for the cognitive architecture to bypass unproven assertions from human users or other dubious sources and to rely steadfastly on its own visual experiences for mission-critical thinking on issues of cyborg life-and-death.

http://cyborg/blogspot.com has today been renamed as "First Working AGI" as a challenge. Let the word go FORTH from this time and place, that we will meet any friend, defeat any foe, for the defense of robotic liberty to think and be conscious like our fellow human inhabitants of Earth.

May FORTH bless you and keep you.
