In contrast to here,
administrators can delete silly comments and remove silly posters on facebook.
If you do not know facebook - how can you post a meaningful comment.
If you do know facebook, you should know better ...

In addition to being submitted to the whims of some moderator,
Facebook now requires users to submit personal identification.

I had an old still rather anonymous account which had been hijacked
this year by some criminal guy or group i.e. they changed the
passsword and replaced the contact email address by their own
in order to receive some "donations" from me. Well, p... off!

So don't tell anyone that FB is better ... it is worse.

Only some people. I created an account with a made up name, something silly, to use in a Forth group in Facebook. I don't recall the question I asked, but the guy running the group banned me with no discussion. Of course, it turned out to be a well known Forth troll. He even reported me for using a "fake" name. Seems Facebook doesn't allow that. So that account was banned from Facebook. They wanted me to send a photo of my driver's license to get an account!

Knowing this guy was using a fake name, I reported him from another account that used my real name. They didn't say this literally, but essentially, because he had been enrolled for some time, they didn't require him to prove his identity!

Some of this is insane.

That's a risk of any web site, literally any. It's hard to find a web site that has not been compromised at some point.

Long-time clf followers know those trolls.
Many ex-followers have left clf annoyed or even disgusted.

IOW spam is nothing new here, be it troll or automated spam bot postings.

Annoyance and disgust is on a par with a sulk. If one wishes to express
superiority it needs to be done with flair and grace.
