I need to print some box labels with a number of fields which include
bar codes, specifically CODE128. I found some related software that
works with Open Office, but it doesn't have good instructions, at least
so far I haven't quite figured it out. My goal is to print onto a
purchased sheet of label.

Is there anything in Forth that is available to do this?

My fall back is to see what Staples of Office Depot has for purchased
software, but I'm not expecting that to be easy to use... I don't often
find commercial products do a great job... well, the stuff you buy in
stores anyway.

I do not know anything in Forth, but perhaps LaTeX with the packages
labels ( <http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/labels> )
and
code128 ( <http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/generic/code128> )
would work for you. I have not used the latter so I do not know.

Thanks for the reply, but this is OBE. I found an Excel macro and font
that lets me generate a nice label very easily. But so far I have not
been able to verify the bar codes generated are correct. I may get
feedback from the customer if they aren't, lol.
