The Last Post?

as I have been having major problems with this NG and seem unable to rectify
them (I currently receive 80 messages out of over 300 on the NG) I intend to
unsubscribe from it.
Although I have enjoyed the lively debate and good points raised by many of
you, it is a bit pointless if I cannot see the full context of what is being
said.
I was reluctantly dragged into this forum by Jimmy Gavan after some private
mail which he felt would be of interest to members of the NG. I really have
enjoyed my time here (despite the outrageous demands it has made on a very
busy schedule) and I hope that at least some of the 97 messages I have
contributed have been of some use to somebody...if so, I consider the time
well spent. (If not, I still had fun <G>)
It is pleasing to see that guys like Thane, Jimmy, the two Bills and many
others too numerous to mention, are providing high standard help and
assistance to the COBOL community and ensuring that the language is alive
and well.
