Is there anyone still selling Mr. Debug? I can't find an address or
site that offers it for sale.

Try Dieter Crispien, Frauenlobstrasse 24, 80337 Munich.

Anyway, he wrote it.

His e-mail address can be found under

Go for "Impressum".

Sorry for the anti-spamming-hassle, but I won't put any e-mail address into
a newsgroup.

Err, no he didn't. Ian 'Dr Debug' Day wrote it & it is copyright Dark
Black Software Ltd., a UK company.

Please check your facts before posting.

The MrDebug that I know about was written during the mid 90s, by Ian
'DrDebug' Day and Darren Lancaster of Dark Black Software Ltd. Who is this
Dieter Crispien and what is this MrDebug that you speak of?

He was founder and owner of dc-soft, Munich, and is well-known in the
Clipper and VO community. Up to now I was quite sure he did write an
enhanced Clipper debugger.

Sorry if my information was wrong.

Dieter Crispien was/is CEO of DCSOFT. He show us his Debugger in 1991
at DevCon Köln. At that Time he was very close to Nantucket / Germany
getting all Information he need for the Debugger.
DC told us, that he was just searching some People who will finish his
Debugger
to sell. 1 Year later i received a email from DC annoncing a new Produkt
called
MrDebug ... i bought it at DevCon 1993 from DC.

hi,

i just received a email from Dieter Crispien :

*** german ***

Hallo Herr Yiu,

Translation with SysTran :

Hello Mr. Yiu,
I has times a session over an extension of the Clipper
debugger held I believes I this extension at that time DBFCLD
called. An extended version of it was even as SixCLD on the SixDriver
CD.
MrDebug was its own debugger for Clipper by - thus a
complete replacement for the CLD.EXE! -, that very much many
achievements my extensions for CLD taken over has (whether it, who,
means author of MrDebug SixCLD knew is thereby questionably).
MrDebug and my CLD extension have to do however nothing with one
another.

Thanks, but the shop pages don't work. Any way to contact them?

If you're having problems with a web site it's usually a good idea to drop a
line to webmaster@<domain>. In this case you can get to the chap you need to
speak with at mark <squiggle> acemake.com.

Tried that, and eventually got a message saying his system crashed and
he'd answer his mail when he could. That was a month or so ago.

Yes, I think I remember him saying he'd had some problems like this. Given
this problem perhaps you'd like to try again? I'm sure he's got his email up
and working well again.
