Hi All,
To display data graphicaly i'm using an activeX control; Teechart from
Steema. Which worked fine.
Now they put out a new version (2012) which i downloaded and installed. The
demo's (MS-Word, Excel VB6) all work fine.
But, when i want to use the control in the window editor, VO crashes (An
unhandled exception (0xC0000005) occured inside ntdll.dll at 0x77848C9).
Bypassing the IDE and just using the control during run-time (via
SELF:oDCTC:CreateEmbedding(s)) gives a simular result:
running from within the IDE -> An unhandled exception occured in module
lpk.dll of your application
running the compiled app -> Error code 50, subsystem VO-CODE, error Subcode
5333
The 2011 version of Teechart runs just fine.
I tested the behaviour on WinXP 32 bit and WIN7 64 bit. All the same.
Does anybody have some clues what's going on here?
If someone wants to test, i've got some test AEF and the Teechart.ocx (13

Try turning off DEP, or adding your program to the exclusions list and running once as Admin.

They have two versions now. The usual 32 bit and a 64 bit version.
Obvisously the problem is with the 32 bit version. The 64 bit version i
cannot test with VO.

Hi Nick,
DEP is turned on only for essential windows programs..... There is no option
to turn it off.
I turned it on for al programs and excluded the program but no effect.

Unfortunatly my upload is limited to 2 MB.
