I have a problem with Files in use with clarion 2.1 and Clarion 5. The
locator and the Get(.... ) command, can`t find the record.
The locator funktion stops one record before, and in the Get(File, key)
funtion is the errormessage() 35.
In case it works in Clarion 2.1 it works not in Clarion 5, in case it works
in Clarion 5 it works not in clarion 2.1
Is there a way to use the files in c2.1 and c5 ?
Thanks
Martin

my version is 2107 and there is a little Prgramm calls options.pro to change

Is in clarion 5 a file to edit the same data ?
Or where can I download a Update from c2107 to 2110
Thanks

I suppose the vice president, sales and marketing,
of Softvelocity has already contacted you, but if he/she
hasn't, then you may have to contact their sales/marketing
department for an upgrade of Clarion CPD 2.1 to version
2110. I got one a year or two ago, and i think it then cost
25 USD for the disks + shipping. Excellent value.

It never worked for me. I'm using CPD 2110 .- it should be compatible with Clarion for Windows.
Maybe it works, if you are using the default settings for collating sequence in the OPTIONS.CTL
and in the Environment settings in Clarion 5.
In the OPTIONS.CTL the collating sequence is defined for all 255 ascii characters, in the environment
setting in Clarion 5 you cannot specify the sort order for ascii < 20h.
From help in Clarion:
The .ENV file is compatible with the .INI files used by Clarion for DOS (both versions 3 and 3.1) if the CLACHARSET is set to OEM,
because Clarion for DOS .INI files are generally written using OEM ASCII, not the ANSI character set.
