Pastel Accounting 3rd Party Developing Kit

Pastel has released a Third Party Developement Kit allowing 3rd party
developer access to their datafiles (Btrieve). You can now write
addons for Pastel and write directly to their files.

They have been marketing Internationaly for a number of years.
They are also in Australia (and UK and USA)

Why is it so difficult to find out anything about the pricing structure
of Pastel software? I suspect that it's in the hundreds, if not the
thousands. If so, will never sell in the US.

Pastel Partner 4 in South Africa sells for about R 1250-00. At the
current
exchange rate that is about $200-00. But they may have a different
pricing
structure for the USA market.
I may have made a mistake, it is possible that it is not at this
point in
time being marketed in the USA, but I may be wrong as well. It is
being
sold in UK, Aus, NZ and many other countries.
