Hi,

Thank for your help

I'm new to Clarion ( know nothing) and I have a new client having a dos
database build with Clarion version 2.1 release 218. I need to transfert all
the data (.DAT format and K01 and K02 I presume are the index) from Clarion
to any other type of windows database ( .csv; Access etc). Starting there I
can find my way out.

There is a DOS executable called CCVT.EXE that came
with Clarion 2.1 developer tools. It is a converter that
will permit you to export all tables (files with .DAT extension)
into DBASE or Comma-delimited text files.

Unfortunately, this free tool has a few limitations
related to fields of type DATE (a LONG in Clarion)
and MEMO - any file of type *.MEM would mean
that there is a MEMO field associated with a *.DAT

If you still have the .APP file for this application,
then I have an "in-house" tool that will create an
equivalent MsAccess database (structure only) for
all tables.

I have done several conversions from Clarion 2.1

Merci de votre aide.

Le fichier CCVT ne parvenait pas à convertir mes données. J'ai finalement
trouvé le programme Database workshop de Degysi (www.degisy.com) qui permet
de convertir les tables Clarion en une multitude de format.

Merci encore
