Is anyone using Faircom's CTree database engine (SQL or ISAM) with Clarion?

Thanks,
Harley

Several people tried some years ago but I didn't hear any more. I
think the functions in ISAM are too different (?). ODBC should be ok.

I think I still have a dictionary 'Ctree to DTX' converter for an
older version (1995?), if it helps.

I've used the faircom ODBC driver to get some data from a 3rd party
software
when i tried to use it directly with cfw a few years ago it was veeeeeeery
slooooooooooooooooooooow!
Now I use it from time to time to make some interfaces with the 3rd party
software
oth i'll be interested on the 'Ctree to DTX' converter if its available

Cheers

With regard to slow performance using the FairCom ODBC driver, note
that the Developer's Edition ODBC driver has a built-in delay so that
it can't be used in production environments. Also note that this
particular driver is a client-side driver with all processing
performed on the client-side.

You might instead consider the c-treeSQL Server which includes
server-side ODBC processing so ODBC should be better solution under
this model.
