This is a short and ugly reply : You do it in the same way as for any
other Windows language.
You have got a choice of various third party products avaliable. One that
I can think of now is Wyse Help, written by Great Lakes Business Solutions,
Canton (313 - 981 4970). I myself haven't used it. Instead I went the hard way
by using the Microsoft Help Compiler and wrote my document in MS Word,
using the WHAT6.DOT template.

Thys
The best way, no kidding, that I have found is a program called HelpGen.
IT's available from America Online, and I'll probabally FINALLY get
around to uploading it to Icetips soon...it uses a macro-like language
that takes about a day to learn really, really well, and then you're off.
You DON't need Microsoft Word, but you DO need the Microsoft Help
Compiler, which takes .RTF (Rich Text Format,) files and turns them into
.HLP files. The Microsoft Help Compiler is also available (gasp!) on
America Online.

Dawson

You might try Help Writer's Assistant for Windows. They have a new beta
version 4.0 out. You can find it at the following URL:
http://www.cdarchives.com/ftp/17A.HTM
Look for the following lines.
***HELP WRITER'S ASSISTANT FOR WINDOWS*** 1/2
***HELP WRITER'S ASSISTANT FOR WINDOWS*** 2/2
I have found this utility to be of great help. It doesn't need any external
programs in order to generate help files. It is very intuitive and user
friendly. Give it a try! :-))

Buy a Help authoring tool. Learn to use it. Develop your documentation and
help files.
Or hire us to do it all for you. Our documentation writers will debug your
work, too. Reasonable rates and quick turn-around time.

Geoff, I can't find any listing for a Borland product called ForeHelp. It
is listed as being produced by ForeFront and the cost is US$315 in The
Corporate Developer catalog. (Slightly higher at Programmer's Paradise.)
Are we talking about two different programs? I couldn't find any Borland
products for $60 anywhere. You guys must really get good pricing.
Purchase a good help authoring system. There are many on the market,
hence the reason why TopSpeed haven't re-invented the wheel. In our
company we use HDK. It allows us to write the help in Word, so we are
writing our manual at the same time. HDK then converts the Word file to
a Help file.
