I currently have Clarion 4b. My main app has been done in CPD. Now I
am planning a major rewrite of this app. What are the essential tools
that I should have to help me along the way? Also, what
templates/tools are considered a must for a Clarion Developer?

Also, I want to build my app to work well with both SQL backend
databases as well as normal TPS/DAT. Are there templates that will
help in this?

I very much appreciate the input of this community.

Thanks & Regards,
Ubaidullah Nubar.

Ubaidullah,

Well, I can think of at least 70 Clarion Third Party Add-On Developers
offering over 250 products that will tell you their tools are absolutely
essential for your development! ;-)

There is an amazing array of commercial and freeware tools available for
your use.

What features does the CPD app have to offer, and what kind of features
do you hope to incorporate in the windows version? As you begin to tell
us what kinds of specific needs you have, you'll probably have plenty of
suggestions.

Here is a resource with most Clarion add-on products available in an
informational format that will help you become aware of what is
available, current cost, download page information, etc.

Clarion Third Party Profile Exchange

file - and you can VIEW ALL product information through a combination of
browse windows or in a report.

Product Scope 32 PRO Download page at:

The program, Product Scope 32 PRO, is free to use in it's Viewer Version

companies to install the Viewer Version of Product Scope 32 PRO on 5

The main tool is to do it in ABC templates. If you don't, you'll be writing
a legacy app. I have 2 tools I consider indispensable. RPM Report
Previewer and Handy Tools.
