Scott Nudds is a moron (who may or may not be human), who claims to have
created the Ultimate Language (which he calls PASM [1]), which (of course)
doesn't actually exist, but should be available Real Soon Now. (In the
meantime, Scott recommends using Java, although you shouldn't use the
bytecode compiler, you write assembly code for the Java Virtual Machine,
as high-level languages are Considered Harmful.)

The whole controversy is over Scott posting his drivel in comp.lang.c,
comp.lang.c++, and comp.lang.asm.x86. He calls C an "abortion" and a "sick
religion" and insults anyone who disagrees with him (usually calling them
"C pushers"). PASM pushers will do anything to defend their sick religion.

He has also made (false) claims that he has written several megabytes of
assembly code. When he posted code to prove it, it was revealed that the
code in question had been copied from a textbook. Scott then claimed to
have written the book in question, although he could not be bothered to
post the ISBN so that we could check for ourselves. In my opinion, Scott
probably has only two books: he's bored with the first because he found
Waldo in all the pictures, and he never got around to coloring the second
one because crayons aren't "portable".

In short, Scott Nudds is an excellent cure for low blood pressure, but isn't
good for anything else. Just avoid Scott like the plague. If you don't, he
will slowly destroy your sanity, just like he's done with us.

[1] While Scott claims that PASM is an acronym (meaning "portable assembler"),
I believe that it is really an anagram. My favorites are `SPAM', which refers
to Scott's posts, and `AMPS', which refers to the electroshock therapy Scott
underwent back at the asylum (it didn't help).
