Whenever I try to run a project it goes through look'n for errors and
then a window pops open saying "Cannot find executable: TASM". Then it
has a "ok" button that I can't click on but I can push enter on. Anyone
know what this means? It's really anoying me. Thanx.

TASM = Turbo Assembler. Borland's assembler product.
MASM = M$ Assembler

You must have a .ASM file in your project.

You didn't say anything about your operating environment. One thing called
TASM was (is?) the name of an assembler that Borland made for the DOZE and
WINDOZE architecture...

Uh? are you sure? I think TASM (Turbo Assembler) was around long before
Windows. MS version Masm.

It's Borland's Turbo Assembler. It should either be in its own \TASM
directory or appear in \BCxx\BIN somewhere.

Hi--
TASM is Turbo ASseMbler by Borland, and you should NOT need it unless
your project contains embedded assembler. If not, check your settings
and see if you've got the "compile via assembler" switch on (under
Compile|Options|Code Generation; if it's on, turn it off--you don't
need to go through assembly). This is if you're running BC 3.1,
which is the last version in which Borland included TASM; if you are,
run Install and you can add TASM to your installation. If not, then
I'm confused. There's an inline assembler called BASM in later BC
versions, which is what Borland should be calling if it needs to do
any assembly at all.
