Nice article from The Reg about BS's letter. I love C++, I've using it
since 1991, but IMHO BS comes too late with his warning... C++ is
already a monster, an unmanageable monster (really powerful and getting
better, but too big, too difficult to learn, too many gotchas, bad
tools...) :-(

Well, he's completely free to create his own "better C++"... to be piled
among the three-dozens-or-so other "better C++'s" out there already.
Name it Z++ or something. Have it fade to obscurity before it's even
completed.

If anyone wants to take that route, I suggest they make
it, at least partially, closed source.
