When a person meets Jesus Christ, they are never the same.

If you call yourself a Christian and are the same as you've always been,
just maybe more religious or diligent in your pursuit of religion, you
are not saved, and you've never met Him. You are just as lost as those
who are out there sinning in the fullest extents.

Nicodemus was a Pharisee. The most knowledgeable / legalistic type of
Jew, and a teacher of the Law of Moses. He came to Jesus knowing only
the Law and the things of this world. Jesus tries to explain to Him the
nature of His new Kingdom, which is of the spirit.

Pay attention and you will see there is more to our lives than that which
our eyes are able to see. Jesus is the gateway, as He takes away our sin
so that we can be born again, alive spiritually, able to enter in to the
new life which is eternal life.

Jesus alone. No other way. Please take heed of these things and learn
for yourself why that statement is true. Do not cast judgment upon the
statement without investigation.

He won't care anyway. Pointless to reply, Rick is exalted in his
lunacy. We can't tell anything to him. Jesus can't tell anything to
him [Matthew 23:12] [Luke 14:11] [Luke 18:14]. Perhaps it is like

It is correct. It required the death of the old Rick, so the new Rick,
the eternal Rick, could come into existence. Still bound to this same
body, this same sinful world, but everything on the inside is made
new by the rebirth, and the rebirth is only possible by the
death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I am not a troll, Richard. I care about people and I am teaching you and
them the way to gain eternal life. It is something you won't be taught
by the world, or those in the world who are following after the world.

I post in the areas to which I have interest in my life. I speak similarly
in real life to those people I'm around when I go places. It is an outward
effort ongoing from the inward changed state.

I care about people. I care about the people in this group. I don't want
to see anybody go to Hell ... so I raise the voice to those who might not
otherwise ever hear the truth of their sin condition, and their need for
repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. It's my best offering to
people (the way to eternal life).

Chris,

I'm with you. I am a Christian and believe strongly in Christ and the
Bible. However, at the same time, I know when discussing religion is
appropriate and when it is not (this newsgroup is not the appropriate
place).

I have run into people like Rick before. There are fanatics who are
convinced they are right and the rest of the world is wrong. There is
nothing else but what they believe. However, they are not Christians.

I actually feel sorry for Rick. He thinks he is preaching the Gospel -
but in reality he has been duped by Satan. I only hope he comes to his
senses some day - but unfortunately, I very much doubt he ever will.

A troll is somebody who deliberately makes inflammatory posts in order

From a historical perspective, you're absolutely right. Twenty -- maybe
even ten -- years ago, that's exactly what it meant to be an internet
troll.

From a "usage defines meaning" sense - that ship has long sailed.
"Troll" is now used to mean "anyone who's kind of a dick on the internet."

Leigh, you've those seen those cartoons where a person approaches a choice
and there's an angel on one shoulder, and a devil on the other? The angel
is giving advice toward the right thing, and the devil is giving advice
toward the self-seeking thing.

The reality is this: because of sin there is an evil voice in this world
that speaks into your flesh. It is invisible, but that voice comes in the
form of thoughts, beliefs, ideas. It makes many of the things you think
you've come to realize be not even your own thoughts, but they've been
injected into your thinking so as to guide you into that falseness.

It's why I ask people to seek the truth. By simply setting your focus on
the truth, God knows you are seeking the truth. And because you are then
truly seeking the truth, He makes it possible for you to know it.

I know you've said you blocked me and therefore probably won't read this.
So I would ask someone else to reply to this and quote the content so Leigh
can read it.

Every person on this Earth has immeasurable value. We are here in a sinful
world, and there is disease and limitation here. But we won't be here on
this Earth forever. We will enter into eternity as perfect beings in our
perfect angel-like body that never ages, never tires, has no bad days or
headaches or times when it's difficult to concentrate, etc. In the eternity
God has provided, we will all be at the absolute top of our game continually.

It is that very thing the enemy, Satan and all his demon imps (demos are
fallen angels, angels who turned the back on God and went their own way,
doing their own thing, and in so doing condemning themselves to Hell
forever) are lost. They are without redemption. They will never be
returned to the Kingdom they left. And they are angry with God because
of it. And because you were made in the image and likeness of God, they
hate you, and they want you to be destroyed as well.

Jesus made a way out of that destruction, and Satan and all his demon imps
are working day and night continually upon everybody in the world to keep
them from coming to this saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Only Jesus Christ can set us free. It's why the enemy invests so much
time in discrediting Him, and in discrediting the people who follow Him.

But it is a real promise, that if you that if you seek the truth, you will
find it. God will personally see to it, and you will come to the right
and true knowledge. But if you do not seek the truth, the enemy is there
to fill you with everything you'll think is right, but all of it will be
wrong.

To make this point even clearer, there are times when you are approached by
someone like me who is going to tell you about Jesus Christ. You will feel
upset, angry, have thoughts of those Christians who did some heinous thing
(that truly was heinous) come back to your mind.

As you stand there being approached by someone who's bringing the good news
of redemption, of eternal life through Jesus Christ, to your ears and into
your life, the enemy is there pumping you and injecting you full of hate
toward the message, such that perhaps even all of what you feel in that
moment doesn't even come from your own true feelings. You are feeling the
things the enemy is injecting you with.

The enemy has only the power we give him. When we stand up against the
enemy in our own power, we are still powerless. But when we stand up
against the enemy with our faith in Jesus Christ brought to bear against
Him, that's when he flees, that's when he's defeated.

The enemy is not scared of us. He's already defeated us. We are already
lost. The battle is his and for those who don't find the victory in
Jesus Christ, the victory is his.

But for those who put their faith in Jesus Christ, they have victory because
Jesus defeated Satan completely at the cross. When He went to the cross
without sin, and was then able to transfer the sin of all who would believe
in Him (past, present, and future) to Himself, and then die to sin (which is
the Godly requirement of the punishment of sin, death in Hell), then all who
put their faith and trust in Him were set free. Satan's attack upon God and
mankind lost all of its power.

And still today, the ONLY people who will enter into Hell will be those who
choose to reject the free offer of salvation in Jesus Christ, such that
they prevent themselves from being saved by their own hard hearts. And,
just as Satan and all his demon imps are lost, so too are those who have
such hard hearts that they will not receive from God even the very ticket
out of the death sentence looming large over them.

What Jesus has done is the most amazing thing that's ever happened for us
in this world. Knowledge of this is more important than any other thing.
And the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ saves the eternal soul
of living human beings.

There is nothing more important than this in a world where sin reigns
because men love darkness more than light, evil more than good.

I have posted my request. It is now a witness given by everyone who reads
it and does not post it against themselves.

"Real Troll," Jesus Christ will forgive your sin and give you eternal life.
All you have to do is come to Him believing and ask Him. No special hoops
to jump through. No back flips. Just an honest pursuit of the truth, and

What sin are you talking about? Giving you a link of Jesus is a sin?
Since when? This talk about eternal life, can I ask him to forget about
it because I don't think it is a good idea to have eternal life. It is
better to enjoy life while you are young and healthy and when it becomes
difficult and painful then it is time to the honorable thing - i.e. to
use a silver bullet!!

Have you thought of going to Charlotte NC and pray for for all those
looters, muggers, drug users and armed robbers? that is where you
should be spending your time, not here! Religion was meant for those
type of people, not for educated intelligent people.

The Law gives man notification of His sin before God. The sting of death
is sin; and the strength of sin is the Law. It is the Law God gave us
which points out our sin.

By examining the Law God gave us, you will see your sin

Our lives are not supposed to be this way. We were never intended to age
or be infirmed. We were created to live forever with God, as His children.
But because of sin, all of that has changed. We now live in this fallen
world which has death, disease, hate, war, killing, murders, and strife.
And it is that very thing which Jesus came to take away, to restore us from
sin, from all of the death, disease, hate, war, killing, murders, and
strife, and to put an end to sin forever.

It's what He did at the cross. He made a way for us to be restored to His
eternal plan for us in a body that never ages, never has pain, never gets
hungry, never thirsts, never is weak or has a bad day, but is always more
strong and viral than we ever were in our prime. And our mental faculties
will be unrestrained as well, so that we always think completely clearly.

It is the world God intended. And it is the enemy of God who tempted Adam
and Eve to sin which has brought us to this place.

A Christian can do both, and is expected to do both.

Having a saving relationship with Jesus Christ has almost nothing
whatsoever to do with religion. The two are as different as night
and day. It is that which I'm trying to teach everybody.
